La Casa de los Coroneles alberga el proyecto ”Los Muros Invisibles”. Muros y techos que siguen frenando la consecución de la igualdad real de las mujeres en Fuerteventura
Mañana jueves 2 de diciembre, a partir de las 18 h., el Espacio Cultural Casa de los Coroneles acogerá en sus salas el proyecto de patrimonio cultural, investigación y expositivo muros invisibles.
El proyecto cuenta con el apoyo del Gobierno de Canarias.
Tras meses de investigación sobre los actuales muros invisibles que siguen en pie en Fuerteventura, en relación al papel de la mujer frente a los abusos de “LOS CORONELES” como sistema de poder en los paisajes culturales del norte de la isla Majorera, la consultora CROWPLAN S.L presentará los resultados con una llamativa exposición multidisciplinar. Una muestra artística, compuesta por obras de la artista Verónica MG, que rescata a las grandes olvidadas de la memoria colectiva majorera, se abrirá al público mañana, jueves 2 de diciembre, a partir de las 18 horas, en el Espacio Cultural Casa de los Coroneles.
El equipo organizador, compuesto por los historiadores del arte Álex Leto y Dominique van Oeijen y la ilustradora Lucía Sánchez, se encuentra en Fuerteventura dando las últimas pinceladas a esta muestra artística.
Mujeres que derribaron muros
Grandes mujeres que lucharon toda su vida por derribar los muros impuestos por el patriarcado y hacerse valer en una sociedad donde no tenían casi cabida, como Sebastiana del Castillo y Manrique de Lara, Maria Nieves Manrique de Lara y del Castillo (La Marquesa), María Hierro Morales (Mariquita Hierro) y Candelaria Álvarez Santana son solo algunas de las voces que recoge este proyecto y que busca dar la visibilidad que se merece a este patrimonio cultural intangible de Fuerteventura. Acompañarán estas obras, una serie una serie de proyecciones en las que tres artistas contemporáneas, Greta Chicheri, Verónica Silva y Daura Flores darán testimonio, desde una óptica actual, de la situación de la mujer majorera en el arte.
Muros Invisibles indaga principalmente en dos preguntas: ¿Qué queda de esa época en el patrimonio cultural intangible del norte de la isla? y ¿Qué queda en Canarias sobre estas conductas y por qué persisten? De dichas cuestiones se extrae la información necesaria para poder comprender en mayor medida donde estamos y hacia dónde vamos en dicho ámbito, así como sugerencias para mejorar el patrimonio cultural del archipiélago. Este proyecto es posible gracias a la ayuda y colaboración del Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural, a la Dirección General de Patrimonio Cultural, a Proexca y al Gobierno de Canarias en general.

The cultural house Casa de los Coroneles houses the project ”Los Muros Invisibles”. Walls and ceilings that continue to hold back the achievement of real equality for women in Fuerteventura.
Tomorrow, Thursday December 2nd, from 6:00 p.m., the Casa de los Coroneles Cultural Space will host in its rooms this cultural heritage project and research in an exhibition about invisible walls.
The project is possible with the help of the Government of the Canary Islands.
After months of research on current invisible walls that are still standing in Fuerteventura in relation to the role of women in the face of the abuses by «LOS CORONELES» as a system of power in the cultural landscapes of the north of Majorera Island, the consulting firm CROWPLAN SL will present the results with a striking multidisciplinary exhibition. An artistic exhibition, composed of works by the artist Verónica MG who helps visualize the forgotten great women of the collective memory of Majorera, will open for the public tomorrow, Thursday December 2nd, from 6:00 p.m., at the Casa de los Colonels.
The organizing team, made up of the art historians Álex Leto and Dominique van Oeijen and the illustrator Lucía Sánchez, is in Fuerteventura making the final touches to this artistic exhibition.
Women who broke down walls
Great women who fought all their lives to tear down the walls imposed by the patriarchy and assert themselves in a society where they had almost no place, such as Sebastiana del Castillo and Manrique de Lara, Maria Nieves Manrique de Lara y del Castillo (La Marquesa), María Hierro Morales (Mariquita Hierro) and Candelaria Álvarez Santana are just some of the voices that this project collects and that seeks to give the visibility it deserves to this intangible cultural heritage of Fuerteventura. These works will be accompanied by a series of screenings in which three contemporary artists, Greta Chicheri, Verónica Silva and Daura Flores will give testimony, from a current perspective, of the situation of the Majorera woman in art.
Muros Invisibles investigates mainly two questions: What remains of that time in the intangible cultural heritage of the north of the island? And what remains in the Canary Islands about these behaviors and why do they persist? From these questions, the necessary information is extracted to better understand where we are and where we are going in this area, as well as suggestions to improve the cultural heritage of the archipelago. This project is possible thanks to the help and collaboration of the Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural, to the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Proexca and the Government of the Canary Islands in general.

Het culturele huis Casa de los Coroneles ontvangt het project ”Los Muros Invisibles”. Muren en plafonds die het bereiken van echte gelijkheid voor vrouwen op Fuerteventura blijven belemmeren
Morgen, donderdag 2 december vanaf 18:00 uur, zal de culturele ruimte Casa de los Coroneles in zijn ruimtes het project over cultureel erfgoed, onderzoek en de tentoonstelling onzichtbare muren tonen.
Het project is mogelijk dankzij de hulp en samenwerking van de regering van de Canarische Eilanden.
Het is een onderzoek van enkele maanden naar huidige onzichtbare muren die nog steeds op Fuerteventura aanwezig zijn in relatie tot de rol van vrouwen in het licht van het machtsmisbruik van «LOS CORONELES». Zij hielden een machtssysteem in stand in de culturele landschappen van het noorden van het eiland Majorera. Het adviesbureau CROWPLAN SL presenteert de resultaten van dit onderzoek middels een opvallende multidisciplinaire tentoonstelling. Een artistieke tentoonstelling, samengesteld uit werken van de kunstenares Verónica MG die de grote vergetenen van het collectieve geheugen van Majorera redt, gaat morgen, donderdag 2 december vanaf 18:00 uur, open voor het publiek in het Casa de los Colonels.
Het organiserende team, bestaande uit de kunsthistorici Álex Leto en Dominique van Oeijen en de illustrator Lucía Sánchez, is op Fuerteventura om de laatste puntjes op de I te zetten voor deze artistieke tentoonstelling.
Vrouwen die muren hebben doorbroken
Dit onderzoek geeft een stem aan de sterke vrouwen van Fuerteventura die hun hele leven hebben gevochten om de door het patriarchaat opgelegde muren af te breken en zich te laten gelden in een samenleving waar ze bijna geen plaats hadden. Vrouwen zoals Sebastiana del Castillo en Manrique de Lara, Maria Nieves Manrique de Lara y del Castillo (La Marquesa ), María Hierro Morales (Mariquita Hierro) en Candelaria Álvarez Santana zijn slechts enkele van de stemmen die dit project verzamelt en de zichtbaarheid wil geven die dit immateriële erfgoed van Fuerteventura verdient. Deze werken worden begeleid door een reeks vertoningen waarin drie hedendaagse kunstenaressen, Greta Chicheri, Verónica Silva en Daura Flores, vanuit een actueel perspectief getuigen van de situatie van de Majorera-vrouw in de kunst.
Muros Invisibles onderzoekt hoofdzakelijk twee vragen: Wat is er van die tijd overgebleven in het immaterieel cultureel erfgoed van het noorden van het eiland? En wat is er op de Canarische Eilanden overgebleven van dit gedrag en waarom blijven ze bestaan? Uit deze vragen wordt de nodige informatie gehaald om beter te begrijpen waar we zijn en waar we naartoe gaan op dit gebied, evenals suggesties om het culturele erfgoed van de archipel te verbeteren. Dit project is mogelijk dankzij de hulp en samenwerking van het Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural, aan het directoraat-generaal Cultureel Erfgoed, Proexca en de regering van de Canarische Eilanden in het algemeen.
