Proyecto Los Muros Invisibles: ‘in English’ y ‘in het Nederlands’

[dt_gap height=»10″ /]So, good news! This year 2021 we will launch a new project on Fuerteventura about its cultural intangible heritage.

The project is called the ‘Invisible Walls of the island of the Colonels’. In this project we will investigate the existence of invisible walls from the historical ‘Los Coroneles’. We will investigate their role in the past and if and how they are still present in relation to the role of women of Fuerteventura.

Los Coroneles was a system of power on Fuerteventura that played a role in society, with special emphasis on women, who were raised with values ​​that implied inferiority and that over time have been seen fortunately modified. We will investigate and illustrate what remains of that time in the intangible cultural heritage of the north of the island, and secondly, what of these behaviours remains in the Canary Islands and why they persist? In other words, we will focus on the role that women played in the days of the colonels and we will capture their respective evolution to this day.

We will create an exhibition in Casa de los Coroneles Cultural Space, in Fuerteventura, which will be seen this fall (octobre/november). In this exhibition visitors will be shown the history of the construction of the Casa de los Coroneles, as well as the most outstanding characteristics of this architectural work. We will also show videos with confessions of the women of the past and now, and their vision on the ‘invisible walls’. We want to give all female generations of Fuerteventura a podium!

In addition, the project is working to contribute to some of the Sustainable Develepment Goals such as gender equality and the reduction of inequalities. We will focus on two of the ‘2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals’: number 8 that advocates decent work and economic growth, because we are committed to the creation of a touristics product or service. The second goals is number 4: to ensure an inclusive, equitable and quality education as well as the promotion of learning opportunities for all citizens and tourism users, which we will gaurantee because of the availability of a cultural knowledge as rich as that of this project.

Goed nieuws! Dit jaar 2021 lanceren we een nieuw project op Fuerteventura over zijn cultureel immaterieel erfgoed.

Het project heet ‘de Onzichtbare Muren van het eiland van de Kolonels’. In dit project onderzoeken we het bestaan ​​van onzichtbare muren uit het historische ‘Los Coroneles’ (De Kolonels). We zullen hun rol in het verleden onderzoeken en of en hoe ze nog steeds aanwezig zijn in relatie tot de rol van vrouwen op Fuerteventura.

We zullen een tentoonstelling maken in de ruimtes van het culturele huis La Casa de los Coroneles, op Fuerteventura, dat dit najaar (oktober/november) te zien zal zijn. In deze tentoonstelling krijgen bezoekers de geschiedenis van de bouw van La Casa de los Coroneles te zien, evenals de meest opvallende kenmerken van dit architecturale bouwwerk. Ook tonen we video’s met bekentenissen van de vrouwen van vroeger en nu, en hun visie op de ‘onzichtbare muren’. We willen alle vrouwelijke generaties Fuerteventura een podium geven!

Daarnaast probeert het project bij te dragen aan een aantal van de Duurzame Ontwikkelingsdoelen, zoals gendergelijkheid en het verminderen van ongelijkheden. We richten ons op twee van de ‘2030 Agenda voor Duurzame Ontwikkelingsdoelen’: nummer 8 dat pleit voor waardig werk en economische groei, omdat we ons inzetten voor het creëren van een toeristisch product of dienst. Het tweede doel is nummer 4: zorgen voor inclusief, rechtvaardig en kwaliteitsvol onderwijs en het bevorderen van leermogelijkheden voor alle burgers en toeristen, wat we zullen creeëren door het beschikbaar maken en laten zien van de culturele rijke kennis van dit project.
